WilmFilm 2016 ‘One-Night Stand’ screenings set

WILMINGTON, Del., March 18, 2016 — The WilmFilm 2016 series of “One Night Stands” kicks off Thursday, March 31, with the showing of three films at Penn Cinema Riverfront.

The first “One Night Stand” this year will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a reception in the Penn Cinema lobby, featuring wine and cheese tastings compliments of Swigg and Pineapple Catering. The reception will be followed by showings of our three films.

“Eddie the Eagle,” a benefit for Preston’s March for Energy, and “Brave Miss World,” a benefit for the Jewish Federation of Delaware, start at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 for “Eddie the Eagle” and $18 for “Brave Miss World.”

“Delaware Shorts,” featuring Tim Carr’s Delaware premiere of “The Other Ripken” and curated by Rob Waters, starts at 7:45 p.m. The screening is sponsored by Barry’s Events and tickets are $10.

Sponsors will offer a discussion of their films after each screening.
